We were recently interviewed by the fine folks over at Chris Pirillo’s Lockergnome.com site
They asked us some questions about facebook applications and why we started facereviews.com

Short Interview Excerpt: “Why did you create FaceReviews - how does it help Facebook Citizens or even newbies?

Immediately after Facebook opened up it’s f8 platform to 30,000 plus developers; we saw a huge surge in facebook applications that were available and people were drowning in options for 100’s of different Facebook applications and Facebook widgets.

Facebook merely lists applications in their directory and there is really no way of knowing which of these applications are any good without going through the painful and time consuming task of trying it out. There are “most popular” lists but that does not actually mean that the facebook application is good. There are lots of programs that are popular and yet really really substandard.

So we are trying to raise the bar. So we knew there had to be a better way to make it easy for people to decide. And that is what facereviews is all about.This helps people make informed facebook application choices and saves them time. We are all about providing useful information so that Facebook users can know which facebook programs are good and which are not so good.”…
