It’s Official: Facebook Has 30 Million Users

This substantial jump in membership is phenomenal. A mere 7 weeks ago the number was only 24 million users on facebook. Congrats to facebook on hitting this major milestone.
This is indicative of a much higher velocity of adoption than many people expected. As more usefull applications keep coming up on the facebook platform, I would expect this number to hit 40 million within 3 months. The trend is definitely moving more towards the mainstream with users coming into facebook and seeing what all the excitement/value is…
