Mark Cuban on Facebook with IceRocket Blog Search Engine

Renowned Entreprenuer & Blogger Mark Cuban’s Company IceRocket has just launched a facebook application. Ice Rocket is a great blog search engine that I have used since they launched in back in 2005.
Several years ago Cuban sold Broadcast.com to Yahoo for $5.7 billion and is now president of HDNet, a provider of high-definition TV programming. He also owns the Dallas Mavericks basketball team.
This facebook blog search application works fairly well. You can search directly from your profile page (does not work in the left column) and the results show up directly in facebook. Nice! The one issue I have is that when I click on any of the result pages I go to the appropriate page, but I lose where i am in facebook. The experience get’s a bit clunky and I have to go back and forth for navigation via my browser. uggghhh!
The downside is that this application is really pretty 1 dimensional. I can search and see results and then go to those results but thats it. Bummer. There are no ways to share anything that I find; the power of facebook is the easy ability to share with your friends interesting content that you discover. This app needs sharing points and mini-feed updates… it has none. We gave it a 4 star rating because it is the first search engine that is embedded (although only partially) within facebook. 
IceRocket also searches the web, myspace, news, images…etc. (but this application does not allow this on facebook) Could a search of facebook content be far behind? What I want to know is where is Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL & ASK?
It is worthy to note that this is the first true embedded blog search to come to facebook from an outside search engine (I was user number 5 of this app). I would hope that they keep adding functionality to this facebook IceRocket Blog Search Application as it has great potential. You can get the IceRocket Facebook application here.
