Facebook Down: I Need My CrackBook
Published by Rodney Rumford July 23rd, 2007 in Facebook, Facebook News.
This little image has turned my day upside down for the past 3 hours. Facebook has been growing like a weed on Miracle-Grow. Along with tremendous growth comes growing pains and technology delivery issues. I understand site maintenance, it needs to happen.
What is unusual is that I suddenly felt somewhat out of my mind. They took my facebook away… I can’t communicate in a way that is normal to me. I am addicted to Crackbook. I am hooked. It has become fundamental in the way that I communicate online with people, friends, clients, business associates, etc… I know I am not alone in my addiction.
The point of this post is to share with the uninitiated how severely and positively facebook can impact your life. Imagine your cell phone dead, your land line dead, your cable out… you get the idea. This is all actually good news, I have a much improved way to communicate and I don’t like it when it goes away.

This could spawn the creation of the FBA, Facebook Anonymous. You heard it here first.
I feel your pain ;o) - the whole site seems to be slow this morning (10am GMT) and it hurts…
Well I really hope they are adding new regional networks. We are petitioning them for one for Windsor, Ontario Canada. They have us all associated with Detroit.
They keep telling us ‘Next Update’… and they never do. We have a group and we keep pumbling them with emails and everyone gets the same cookie-cutter response.
I don’t find Facebook addictive, but it sure the hell is a lot of fun.
