LA Facebook Developers Garage Should Be Fun

I am heading out in about 8 hours to Santa Monica to go to the first LA Facebook Developers Garage Event. This event promises to be a blast. It is actually going to have facebook employees giving some presentations and then attendees giving informal presentations. I might actually get up and speak. 
This is a very smart move on the part of facebook. Getting developers and business people energized (as if we needed to be any more pumped up). These types of events are a great place to connect with other like minded individuals and do some serious learning, sharing, and forming of relationships. What comes out of these types of events is usually quite amazing.
The exciting thing about this event is that it runs from 1:30 in the afternoon until midnight. This is going to be great fun and I look forward to meeting lots of people (56 confirmed guests) and coming away with more ideas than my brain can handle…
I am actually organizing the San Diego Facebook Developers Garage on August 23. So mark your calenders and come on down and join the fun.
