True.
The Mega-Hits will still exist, but facebook is a great example of long tail when you are talking about applications. Applications will continue to grow and become more useful and the audiences will gravitate to content that matters to them in the form of applications, groups, etc.

Facebook is indeed a mega niche. I was having some fun.

I think Facebook is really a mega-niche, made up of a lot of small niches in the form of groups and applications. Its a great extension of the long tail, their will be users for all the content created but the number of mega hits will decline…
