iPhone Facebook Application WOW’s Users

When we heard that facebook had made a mobile version of their site available for the iPhone we were excited. It is supposed to give users the critical info required to stay connected and share on facebook via an iPhone.
Since I have not caved and actually purchased one; I asked my friend Robert Scoble what he thought of it the other night when we talking about facebook for a few hours. He said “Rodney it is amazing, I bought an iPhone just to get facebook on my phone… that kind of sums it up for me”.
So I went to the Apple Store, played around with the facebook iPhone application and was blow away at the ease of use. It is intuitive, has simple navigation, and was just a dream to play with. I am quite impressed with the simplicity of design and overall performance of the application. These are not easy things to accomplish when taking a website and making it available on a mobile device.
With the iPhone facebook application you can access the following: News Feed, Events, Friend Requests, Profile, Info, Walls, Photos, Friends, email (sent, delete, send), Friend status, friends online, friends photos, search for friends, etc. You can quickly drill down into almost every area effortlessly. There is also a red box in the upper right side that displays number of unopened facebook emails. This is a dream to use and is very efficient. Have Fun!
The 2 main drawbacks of this facebook iPhone mobile application are that I can not access groups or applications. 
I hope they fix this soon.

when you were using the iphone at the apple store, didn’t you feel just a little like a cheap bastard? or, did it make you realize that facereviews.com is pretty fuckin’ lame if it can’t help you to get one?

I just got a Motorola Q about 8 months ago and don’t want to switch my carriers and cough up 6 Bills… So if Apple or Facebook wants to step up and give me a spiff then I will get an iPhone… Otherwise i will wait until just after new years when the new ones come out.
I am on budget.
I tried to dig down Iphone apps on few channels like youpark.com, nclubsoft.com and some other channels but couldn’t find much apps related to Iphone though find some good products for PPC and Symbain. Can any one tell me where I can find specific Iphone apps.

I’m with you - and if the next gen iPhone doesn’t have video, I’d rather just get a video iPod and another razr.
