Seeing who you are connected to and whom your friends are also connected to is a very interesting exercise. I find it very useful to be able to see who is connected to whom. This is important stuff. Having an easy way to visualize all of these connections can now be done right from within facebook with the Interactive Friends Graph.
This application is easy to use and very intuitive. The more of your friends that use it; the more useful it becomes, so that you can see what their network looks like. The larger the circle; the more connections/friends you have. You can also easily look at any persons profile from this app, send them a message or poke.
The big limitation of this facebook application is that the graph stops at 200 people. For people like me that have a larger network this presents a problem. It would be nice if I could drill deeper into connections or actually drag them visually and move them around. But most people will find this facebook friends interactive graph quite useful.
My Friends Graph with Dave’s connections to my friends. I can also drill into Dave’s profile, send him a message or poke.
