I (Rodney Rumford) was recently asked to sit down and have a conversation with Gary Gil from PodClass.com about the business side of facebook applications.
Gary and myself were recently at Facebook in Palo Alto for the Facebook Developers Garage. Gary also attended the San Diego Facebook developers garage that I organized and ran in late August.

I agree that the eventual giants of Facebook apps are going to have to take the leap into putting that interface first and their external site second.
