Not sure if this app will spread virally as it probably a little too advance right now for the Facebook users demographic.

Plus there is already an application on Facebook called My Room that allows you to decorate virtual rooms and it caters to the less common denominator demographic and of course it has around 700k users in less than a month and averages between 80k to 100k active daily users.

They also have a Zwinky/Sims angle with custom avatars. called Roomees.
