Facebook Conferences: I am a Zombie
0 Comments Published by Rodney Rumford October 10th, 2007 in Facebook.
I am a Facebook Zombie… I am finally home after 5 solid days at 2 facebook conferences (Graphing Social & Community Next) and talking about facebook for days & nights straight. I have lost my voice entirely, met literally hundreds of people, and I have a lot of content and knowledge to share with my readers. Facebook on the brain.
I spoke at length with a ton of facebook developers and gained even more insights into application best practices. I also got a peek at what is to come from some of the brightest minds in the space.
I gave a presentation on the business and branding aspects & opportunities of the facebook ecosystem.
I spoke with VC’s about the space… They have a big interest. This means there is money being made (and there is).
I spoke on a facebook panel with tech industry leaders and we debated about what the long term play around facebook is:
The Facebook Fanboys Panel
Mike Arrington: Tech Crunch
Robert Scoble: Scoblizer
Jason Callacanis: Mahalo
Dave McClure: 500 Hats
Wait till you see some of the video of this heated panel… WOW.
We have some really great videos coming very soon as well. I feel like a zombie that has been bit 100 times (but in a good way). Stay tuned as I parse through the pages of notes, presentations and piles of videos and get to pushing this content out. Your perception of facebook and the surrounding ecosystem just might be changed in a very positive way.
