Snap Facebook Conference
Published by Rodney Rumford October 26th, 2007 in Facebook.Head on over to the SNAP Summit Facebook Conference if you are in San Francisco today. This is going to be a great 1 day conference. I was suppossed to be sitting on a Facebook Panel today that is moderated by Robert Scoble. Due to the extreme fires in San Diego and that fact that we were evacuated from our house is preventing me from attending. I spoke with the organizers yesterday afternoon and they were able to line up the knowledgeable Dan Farber from ZDNET to take my place. Thanks for stepping in at the last minute Dan.
Luckily our house survived the fires; just lots of smoke and ash. This is not the case for thousands of San Diegans. I started a facebook group for people to share their San Diego Fire stories on facebook. The group also has resource links if you want to help. I felt it was more important to be with my family and help anyone that I could here.
