Google OpenSocial Blog

Google OpenSocial Blog Google has just launched the OpenSocial platform 3 days ago. We will be publishing articles here related to news and insights related to the Gogle OpenSocial platform.

This is another step forward in social networking. It is not a silver bullet by any means. It does make the job of developing for multiple social network platforms easier. Do not be fooled into thinking that you can write a program for OpenSocial and plug it into all of their partners social networks. It is not quite that simple.

Google normally does a relatively decent job of having their team members posting when they have news to share when the feature sets change on products. I thought it would be helpful to let you know that you can find this Google OpenSocial Blog here. The Google OpenSocial Platform is newsworthy for sure. We will keep you posted on the things that matter around social networks, facebook and Google OpenSocial

Facereviews.com is focused on publishing content related to changing Face of Social networks: That is why the site was named facereviews and not facebookreviews. (the name was actually available when we purchased this domain).

We will continue to cover all the news and insights related to Social Networks and how they effect business and brands. Enjoy!

Sounds to me like a FanBoy that senses the $8.95 he spent on his domain is beginning, in light of OpenSocial, to sense his investment may be in jeopardy!
And I’d be willing to bet that facebookreviews.com, a definate dog of a domain, is available today…..
my bad, I checked, some ‘tards at 1and1.com registered it!

    Mark,
What are you talking about? Be real. Only a person that does not understand IP law would use a trademarked name in their domain name. ie. Facebookanywordhere.com

I use FacebookEconomy.com, Justin Smith is InsideFacebook.com, Nick Oneill uses AllFacebook.com…..I’m waitin’, I wish Mark Zuckerberg would say somethin’ to me!

Rather than trying to bend FaceReviews.com into a name for a blog about OpenSocial, why not drop another $8.95 and get OpenSocialReviews.com?

I can’t speak for anyone else. But as a business person I would never take that risk. These smart guys are very aware of this risk.

The blog is not changing directions at all. It has always been about social networks, applications and trends(until this time facebook was what we centered on; and will continue to be centered on).

Why would we start a new blog? This is evolving just as we planned it would; we knew the word face has many meanings and interpretations that would lend itself to the face “landscape” of social media.

p.s. If I were you I would stop your redirecting of news-feed.com it makes facebook operate under your domain name in the browser. ;)

    out.

I think you meant Mini-Feed.com? And why stop, or is Facebook gonna sue me (again?!). I also redirect MarkMayhew.com to FB (my profile)
