Forrester on Facebook
Published by Rodney Rumford December 8th, 2007 in Facebook, Facebook Applications.
I was recently speaking/presenting about what makes a successful facebook application at the web community forum in Seattle. After my presentation, Jeremiah Owyang come up and asked me some additional questions about what makes a successful application on Facebook. He then said “Rodney, Let me shoot a quick video of you and ask you other some questions relating to social media and facebook”.
For those of you that do not know; Forrester Research is the premier research company in North America when it comes to technology and business.
Jeremiah Owyang is a very well respected and knowledgeable Analyst in the area of Social Media. So he asked me a few things about Widgets, Facebook Applications, Canvas pages as well as an example of how a consumer brand could engage with users on Facebook.
You can watch the full 3 minute video on the Forester Research Marketing Blog.

Enjoy the video about the differences between widgets, facebook applications and canvas pages…

Since Jeremiah is, as you say, a “well respected and knowledgeable” analyst, it stands to reason you should extend to him the courtesy of spelling his name correctly. It’s Jeremiah, not Jerimiah.
Thanks for calling that out Paul. Duly noted and fixed.
