Facebook Applications Stats Improve. One of the challenges with facebook applications is looking at analytics and performance stats. Facebook has always been weak in this area and most facebook application owners use a more sophisticated 3rd party stats provider like Sometrics or something simple like Google analytics for tracking.

Facebook has just implemented (an hour ago) a new stats package that allows application owners to look at 2 weeks worth of application engagement historical data in chart form. This is important to see where usage is moving and to see if there are any trends emerging. This is a definite improvement and a step in the right direction for facebook analytics for applications.

They still have a long way to go… but the analytics evolution is moving forward and that is a step in the right direction.
