HelloTxt microblogging aggregator supports Facebook

It was only a matter of time before something like HelloTxt popped up. The service allows users to post one message that is then replicated on multiple microblogging platforms. It currently Twitter, Jaiku, Pownce, Plaxo, Tumblr and, of course, Facebook.
The audience is admittedly niche, as only a handful of individuals actually use the microblogging element of more than one platform, but those who do will appreciate the usefulness and simplicity of the service. HelloTxt is essentially about presence.
Users of multiple platforms are typically the same ones concerned with their Google search standings and PageRanks. This essentially allows those people to maintain presence without any extra effort. It’s similar to the way that Twitter now updates Facebook Status, but on a much wider scale since it supports multiple platforms.
While the service is strong in its current simplicity, what will make it stronger will be the ability to aggregate friends posts from multiple platforms in one, streamlined feed. I want to be able to read updates from Twitter, Facebook Status and Pownce all in one stream without having to mashup the data manually.
This is the clear next step for HelloTxt. Once it’s made, I’d reckon that it’ll step quickly into techie-relevance. Hopefully it can get that task accomplished by SXSWi as I can see something like HelloTxt being quite a hit in Austin this March.
