APPMRKT: A platform to pawn your Facebook app

The recently launched APPMRKT bills itself as “a marketplace for Facebook applications.” The company hopes to cash in on the ever-growing Facebook Platform by providing a venue for app developers to to sell-off their wares to would-be buyers.
Glancing over the service at this point, though, reveals no apps currently for sale. Not that it’s a bad idea completely, but I feel as though many apps are being made for specific goals and selling them off in such a capacity doesn’t really contribute to that end.
A better implementation of this idea would be for APPMRKT to focus its bandwidth on the “Job Board” feature. While having a section to buy random apps might yield a small draw, a much cooler idea would be to provide a venue for clients to find developers with specific expertise in developing for Facebook Platform.
If it could make that happen, it stands to be a profitable conduit between businesses hoping to tap into the Facebook audience and developers hoping to tap into those businesses. In the meantime, it sure does look pretty.
