Owen Van Natta to exit Facebook
Published by Blake Robinson February 19th, 2008 in Facebook, Facebook News.
Facebook’s former COO and current Chief Revenue Office and VP Operations Owen Van Natta will be leaving Facebook to pursue other interests — namely he wants to be in charge of a company. And with Zuckerberg planted firmly at the helm of Facebook, it’s unlikely that Van Natta will move into the role of CEO.
Van Natta has been a key figure in the growth of the company since he joined in 2005. He was instrumental in negotiating Facebook’s initial ad deal with Microsoft and its recent $240 million investment in the social network.
No word on where Van Natta will end up, but wherever it is, he’s still a rich man given the value of his shares of the $15 billion Facebook.
