Hi5 Developer Platform Goes Live

Hi5 Developer Platform Goes Live. Social Network Hi5 has ;launched their application platform today. If you have an application on facebook I suggest you go take a look and do what you need to do quickly to get your app oonto hi5. There are currently over 7000 developers registered on hi5.
I strongly suggest you look into what it is going to take to “port” your facebook app over to Hi5 while there is an opportunity for great visibility. Let the next land grab begin. Apps will go trough a review process after being submitted (just like facebook). There is a large opportunity with this platform to reach a different audience that does not typically cross over with facebook.
Just like facebook; you have the opportunity to monetize your app on your canvas pages.
Be sure to check out the hi5 developer center here.

Rodney,
iThink was one of the 53 apps included when the Hi5 directory went live on Monday, March 31. It’s been a smooth ride since, with few technical hiccups. Following iThink’s success on Facebook, we developed an OpenSocial version for MySpace, which launched back in mid-March. Adapting iThink from MySpace to Hi5 was not complicated at all — which proves that once an app is developed for one platform using OpenSocial, it really can be modified without much additional coding for other platforms. Congratulations and thanks are due to both Hi5 and the OpenSocial team at Google.
