This is great. I'm so happy to see people thinking -- and talking -- about social media and social networking as more than just entertainment for consumers. Social media has powerful brand building benefits for businesses when harnessed effectively. It allows for direct, one to one communications with your end user to ignite actionable communications, drive brand consumption and build equity in the market. Not by just slapping up a Facebook profile, but by using that vehicle to foster two-way exchanges with customers and translating it directly back to your business initiatives in a highly targeted -- and more meaningul -- way. There is so much untapped potential here, and what's amazing about it is that you're customers are giving you the answers -- you just need to use the suite of social tools available to deliver on them.
