Radical Buy Expands Outside Facebook
Published by Rodney Rumford April 4th, 2008 in Facebook, Facebook Applications.We reviewed the Radical Buy Facebook Application a few months back and really like the social auction/selling app. But they are growing fast and have expanded their business beyond far beyond facebook. I like this because it shows that many brands start on social networks and then expand outward. I think they put a very compelling twist on the ebay selling model.
To this day I think the Radical Buy application on facebook is one of the most sophisticated application online. It also serves a very practical purpose. helping people sell their unwanted stuff and make a few bucks along the way. The one radical concept worth mentioning again here is that users can make a “commission” by selling other peoples stuff simply by listing it on their profile page.

I couldn’t agree more. It’s almost like having a garage sale without all the weirdos showing up at your door before sunrise. Love Radical Buy!
Hmm…sounds interesting. I’ll give it a try, might as well try to make money with facebook for all the time I waste on there.

I just installed it to try it and listed a comic book on the app in Facebook. I also have signed up to sell 2 products for others. Pretty interesting concept!
I am now going to go try adding the widget to my blog.
I am in Dallas, TX and I think that is where Radical Buy is based (it is a Mark Cuban project) so I may have to check them out here.
I just put a story up on my blog about the app and have also linked back to you Rodney and your YouTube video on my blog.

Sounds really interesting. I spend way too much time on Facebook getting nothing done whatsoever. Maybe this will give me something else to do while I am on it.
