Dippity Makes Lifestream Visuals

Dippity makes really cool lifestream visuals that allow you to see a timeline for blog posts, tweets, rss feeds, video, etc. As we are are all starting to feel like we are drowning from the our lifestreams, a tool comes along and rolls it all up into an easy way to consume in a tiny little package in 1 place. Dippity launched this tool a few weeks back but I held off on publishing this blog post until the tool was more stable. It has been rock solid over the last 3 days.
The ability to drill down is pretty nice. Think of all the interesting way that you can see data unfold around events, meetings, etc. We actually built this last week and are finally getting around to publishing this mashup of facereviews posts, blog search results for facebook, and google news for facebook all rolled into one nice package that is visible in several different ways. Think of it as everything newsworthy written about facebook rolled into on place.
These lifestream widgets are portable and can be embedded in blogs easily. The other thing that you can do is make a lifestream open and add other editors to add more content which brings crowdsourcing of content into a mashup. I really like this idea a lot.
I really like the ability to drill down and actually navigate out the actual twitter post or blog post, flickr or video. I would imagine it is only a matter of time before it comes along on facebook.
Just keep hitting the plus button to drill down deeper. I created this mashup on april 28th and have been using it with much joy. Feel free to use as you see fit.
This Dipity Lifestream is all the news about Facebook from hundreds of sources.
Just for kicks I made one to watch brands. See the Starbucks one below.
