Smart phones like the Palm Centro just keep getting smarter. We learned about this development from the official palm blog. You can now access a version of facebook that is optimized for the Palm Centro. The one feature that I really like is being able to record video on the Centro and being able to instantly upload it share it on facebook with my friends. You can also upload photos as well quite easily.

Facebook for Palm is available for Palm® Centro™, Treo™ 755p, and Treo™ 680 smartphones. With the new native Facebook app, Centro and PalmOS Treo owners are able to interact with their social networks much more quickly and easily. Check out the cool feature list:

As more and more social networks become optimized forpopular devices like the ones from Palm we will see even more engagement in social networks. People are finding it increasingly difficult to “unplug” from their social networks as these social networks become core to the way that they communicate, interact and share with family and friends. As I said in yesterdays post (my keys, my wallet, my cell phone); phones are an extension of who we are.
