Facebook Has Your Friends Mobile Number

If you have added the facebook mobile application you have an automatically created phonebook of all of your friends mobile numbers and possibly their land line phone nuumbers as well.
Millions of users have added the facebook mobile application. Adding the facebook mobile application allows you to easily access facebook and to quickly upload photo images from your mobile phone.
The facebook Phonebook has existed for a very long time. We were surprised by the number of people that did not know that they could quickly located their friends mobile numbers.

Worthy of note is that you can hide your phone number via the privacy setting if you do not want your number visible (see arrow in phonebook image below).

Hi Rodney - this functionality may have been around a while, however Facebook has only just started linking to it from the newsfeed when a friend changes their number. Today was the first time I’ve ever seen them doing this, which led me to the phonebook for the first time!
They’re continuing to make big moves into the mobile area, it will be interesting to see what they do next.
Now if it would only sync with my cell phone…. the grail!
I was really hoping no one would ever bring this up in public. I was tempted to talk about it in the book but the potential for people to use it wrongly is vast. I saved the list my page was on to my hard drive every month or so.
is there anyway you can upload your facebook phonebook to your cell phone for the contacts?
