With multitouch Safari and the initial empahsis on web apps, it looked like iphone was going to come play in the open web, but now it looks like opinion is shifting back the other way. Is performance so much better with a native app that it's worth giving up all the benefits of a web app? Or is the FB app performing some kind of deeper integration w/ the iphone that a web app can't?
