The VP debates are tonight. so you should check out this fun app and see what other people are thinking. Between now and Election Day (Nov 4th, 2008), you and your Facebook friends can voice your opinions on the issues around the 2008 US Presidential Election with MyPicks US Election 2008. This is from the fine folks over at Zembly.com
After installing MyPicks US Election 2008 on your Facebook profile, you can participate in a poll indicating how you will vote in the presidential election & provide your opinion on issues being debated by the candidates. Then see how well you actually know your friends’ views by guessing their view on various issues, and giving them the opportunity to agree, disagree and comment on the issues themselves.
Users can also supply their own comments around individual issues, which are available for others to view and are automatically sent to a Twitter feed so you can follow the “political pulse” of the Facebook communities.
I really like the polls, leaderboard and the presidential trivia quiz aspects of this game (the questions are hard). The maps feature is quite nice for visualization of which way people are leaning in that particular state. The app might run a bit slow if you have more than 1000 friends. Try out the facebook app here.

Have two candidates ever got the same number of votes in the past?
