The Google one for sure. It’s freaking rad! I think it captures what I think of when I think Halloween. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s from Wes Craven (since I am indeed a huge horror fan).

To be fair, the Google image was designed by Wes Craven. So it really comes down to a matter of taste, and if you like Wes Craven and his take on all things Halloween (i.e. horror), then you might enjoy his image more. But if you prefer a more family friendly Halloween than I’m sure FriendFeed is more appealing.

Hardly. If you read the history of the several hundred blog posts I have published you will see that we don’t publish rumors or aim for controversy. In fact we work really hard to lean the opposite way and provide valuable insights.

This was actually meant to be a lighthearted post. I know we can’t please everyone.

p.s. look at the friendfeed pumpkins eyes, they are the letter “e”

Wow, I totally don’t see your point here. The ghost and pumpkin don’t even look like their representative letters… if you didn’t know the site, you might think it was Friendfood, or Friedfood. This is more than trivial, this smacks of false controversy to drum up ad revenue. Normally I don’t have a problem with taste, but come on… losing their edge for putting up something that is so obviously fraught with more effort than Friendfood’s site? Seriously? Je me unsubscribe.
