Napoleon Hill Knows the Secret to Twitter: Even Tho He is Dead
Published by Rodney Rumford November 13th, 2008 in business, twitter.
If you have studied the master of life and business success from the original pioneer in this field; Napoleon Hill, then this blog post will make sense to you instantly and you will understand what I mean immediately. Hill has written what is one of the best selling and still very popular business books of all time “Think & Grow Rich” over 50 years ago.
The secret to success on twitter can best be summarized in this famous quote from Hill: “If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want.”
You should have a charter, a methodology for engagement, a philosophy and a use case clearly defined for how you want to use twitter. If you don’t know what you want from twitter you will never get what you want from it and you will flounder and become frustrated. If you look at it as a way to suck value without contribution you will be clearly disappointed.
I want you to ask yourself these questions before you charge aimlessly into the twitter eco-system.
Is Twitter your tool to listen?
Is Twitter your tool to share knowledge?
Is Twitter your tool to help people?
Is Twitter your tool to add value?
Is Twitter your tool to engage?
What you will find, is if you ask yourself these 5 questions and can honestly answer yes to these; then your opportunity for success on twitter is vastly improved.
You also have the opportunity to leverage twitter into a mastermind group that will help you & give you the information that you desire and ultimately take your business to places it was not before in a positive manner. If you are not familiar with Napoleon Hills philosophy then this might not make sense. But if you are, the value of twitter is crystal clear.
Addendum: Here is a video of Hill Speaking. While his style and dress is dated. This guy was a true genius on the same level with Andrew Carnegie.
